Dear pharmacy students,
New York Cares Day is October 23rd!
Please join the New York City Society of Health system Pharmacists (NYCSHP) team participating on New York Cares Day to help paint a brighter future for our New York City public schools and students.
The NYCSHP team will be painting colorful murals, adding bright new line games to playgrounds, organizing school libraries, planting flowers, and more to create inspiring learning environments. You do not have to be a pharmacist or a member of NYCSHP to participate so please bring fellow pharmacist, pharmacy students, friends, and family (children must be 12 years or older with parental consent). registration is required so all that plan to participate are to register with the NYCSHP team by October 15th, 2010! The fee for registering is $20.
The NYCSHP team will be volunteering at PS 161 Ponce Deleon Grammer School in the Bronx on Saturday, October 23rd, from 9:30AM to 3:30PM. Address is 628 Tinton Ave, Bronx (Cross streets are 151st and 152nd st). The school is accessible by either the 2 or 5 train to Jackson Ave or the 6 train to 149th st.
Please bring to join or support the NYCSHP team. If you can’t join our team, please support our efforts. Every dollar donated to New York Cares amounts to $6 in service to the community.
