Volunteer Needed for LIU Day and Commencement

LIU Day will be held on Sunday, April 26th from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. and we are looking for pharmacy students to volunteer their time. A sign-up sheet will be pass around in your classes or you can contact Erin Harbison at erin_harbison@hotmail.com if you are interested.

Pharmacy Commencement will be held on Friday, May 15th at 8 a.m. (final details TBA). We are also looking for students to help with this event. If you are willing to volunteer please confirm with Erin Haribson by Friday, April 24th.

PSLC Applications Available; Campaign & Election Info

To All Pharmacy Students,

We are looking for candidates to run for Pharmacy Student Leadership Council positions for the 2009 - 2010 academic year. Students interested in running for Class Officers (President and Vice President) and PSLC President and Vice President should contact me or Patrick Campbell for information about the positions.

Here is the upcoming schedule this month:

Applications for PSLC positions are available in L-130, the Pharmacy Advisement Office. Candidates must be in good academic standing and prior leadership experience is preferred. A resume or curriculum vitae should be included with the application.

The deadline to return completed applications is Monday, April 13th.

An Election Forum will be held Thursday, April 16th at 11 a.m. in HS 107. Candidates will discuss why they are running for their positions and why they believe they will be a strong leader.

The Election Committee will meet with the candidates and review the campaigning and election rules.

The elections will be held on Monday, April 27 in the HS Lobby from 10 - 2 p.m. We look forward to the upcoming campaign and hearing about your plans for improving the College next year.
