Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at the University of the Sciences is an independent institution of higher education with a commitment to excellence in teaching, research and service. The College of Pharmacy is offering two different 12 month post doctoral training program in pharmaceutical industry and education. The Medical Information Residency (3 positions), offered in conjunction with Ortho-McNeil Janssen Scientific Affairs, LLC (OMJSA) and Centocor Ortho Biotech, Inc. (COBI) will provide residents as a member of the psychiatry, pediatric-neurology, primary care, cardiovascular, immunology, or oncology/nephrology franchise teams within the Medical Information and Services department. The Pharmaceutical Industry Residency program in conjunction with McNeil Consumer Healthcare will provide residents as member of the analgesia, upper respiratory/allergy and digestive health franchises within Medical Information, Medical Affairs, Professional Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs departments. In addition, residents receive an appointment at the University of the Sciences as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Administration and participate in both didactic teaching on campus and experiential course work at the practice site. The Residents will also complete the Resident Teaching Certificate program.
