Training Session for Quitting Coaches

There will be a training sessions for students who are interested in being quitting coaches on
Nov. 10, 2009 1 - 3 p.m. OT Classroom HS 519-520
The agenda is: View Film of Pharmacy counseling session and discuss Review AHRQ -Guidelines Practice interviewing/Counseling using scripts (and feedback checklist-Anne to develop) from the 2008 Guidelines Ch3. AHCPR Discussion of student's role in Quit & Win program. Students will be paired in small groups, will interview for the patient who is ready to quit, recently quit and not ready to quit.
